Today I asked the new Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, Maria Miller MP, whether she would ask the Leveson Inquiry to examine the implications for the media of the Hillsborough Independent Panel report and take evidence from the Panel and the families, and if she would convene cross-party talks after the Leveson Report is published. She failed to agree to either.
