On Friday I campaigned with council candidate Lucy Hamilton and Labour activists in Westham West Ward in Weymouth, South Dorset.  I then joined the local party for a fundraising dinner at Chilis Restaurant in Weymouth. I was impressed to see how much hard work is going into the local election campaign in South Dorset - these elections are important. With the Tory/Lib Dem Government making damaging cuts it is even more important that the Labour Party is a strong voice for people in tough times and is on their side.
