Funny Women mark International Women's Day

01/03/07

Thursday March 8th is International Women's Day and this year will see the return of Funny Women Stand-Up at Hammersmith Palais for the fourth year running featuring some of Britain's best performers and stand-ups.

The show is Funny Women's key charity awareness and fundraising event and continues to bring attention to issues around violence against women. Box office proceeds on the night will be donated to two charities- Action Aid which works to protect, empower and inspire women and girls to achieve their full potential and V-Day: Until the Violence Stops, which campaigns to end violence against women.
