This evening the Fabian Women’s Network celebrated its 10th Anniversary. I joined Seema Malhotra MP, Shadow Home Office Minister for Preventing Violence Against Women and Girls and President of the Fabian Women’s Network and Ivana Bartoletti, Chair of the Fabian Women’s Network for the celebratory event.
The Fabian Women’s Network has been at the forefront of the campaign for women’s power, rights and equality, encouraging women into key roles in public and political life through a flagship mentoring programme, a public speaking and debating club based in Parliament, and through a programme of events that discuss and advocate for policies within the Labour movement and beyond.
