Joining Labour's campaign in the West Midlands

On Wednesday, 27th May I was pleased to visit  the West Midlands and see the hard work being done by Staffordshire Labour in the run up to the elections on 4th June.

I went to Mary Hill Primary School, Kidsgrove, where I was able to highlight Staffordshire Labour's Pledge to half the price of School meals and introduce locally made plates instead of plastic trays.

I visited the Langford Social Club in Cannock, where I had the opportunity to join local councillor Sue Woodward, as well as local pensioners and taxi drivers, to discuss how they have been hit by Tory and Lib Dem cuts to the Transport Voucher Scheme.

I was also able to join the European Parliament's only Sikh MEP Neena Gill at the Gurudwara Guru Nanak Parkash in Coventry.
