Yesterday evening I met with Councillor Sue Murphy, Deputy Leader of Manchester City Council and Sue Nangle, a former Councillor, now Chair of Manchester’s Labour Women’s Forum.  We had a wide ranging discussion. We talked about women’s representation in local government, how the Forum supports elected women in Manchester, and the Equality Act clause one.
