Meeting with London South Bank University - 08/12/10

Today I met with the Pro-Vice Chancellor from London South Bank University in Southwark. Students who study here mainly come from Southwark, Lambeth and Lewisham which are all low income areas. This university is of great importance locally. To cut public funding for this university from £38 million to £3 million is totally wrong and puts the cost onto low income students who can't afford it. I will standing up for people in Southwark and will be voting against government cuts to universities and the trebling of student tuition fees.
