This Thursday there will be a by-election in Aberdeen Donside for a seat in the Scottish Parliament.  I joined Willie Young, Labour’s candidate to visit a local nursery to meet with mothers and toddlers about their concerns. The SNP made a promise six years ago to increase the number of free childcare hours for three and four year olds, however, they have still not met this promise.

Following the nursery visit, Willie Young and I joined Margaret Curran, Labour’s Shadow Secretary of State for Scotland in Westminster; Barney Crockett, Leader of Aberdeen City Council; Richard Baker MSP and Labour members to campaign in Donside.
