On Saturday 7th November I officially opened the North West Regional Labour Party Conference which took place in the Southport Conference Centre. Please click here to read a copy of my speech.

Because this is the main North West regional conference before the next General Election it was a key opportunity for us to set out the choice for voters in the North West. 

After the Confernece I was pleased to be able to meet with Labour Party members at the Greenhill Community Centre to talk about issues in the local area.  Rosie Cooper MP then took me to meet with local business people in Skelmersdale Shopping Centre.
