This morning I visited the Southampton Way Estate with local residents, representatives from the Tenants and Resident's Assocation the Repairs Manager from Southwark Council. We visited Marchwood Close and were shown inside several of the houses. The blocks in Marchwood Close are in need of maintenance. The steel structure is exposed through crumbling concrete, ceilings are falling down and many of the flats have damp and drafts.

I have contacted Southwark Council as a  matter of urgency- it is essential that these works are carried out.
