Speaking at the Eastern Regional Labour conference in Luton – 23

Over 200 members from across the Eastern region joined in Luton today for the Eastern Regional Labour conference. For 39 of the 40 months that David Cameron has been in Downing Street prices have risen faster than wages. I spoke about how working people are an average of almost £1500 a year worse off under this Government and how Labour would make a difference. Small firms would benefit from Labour’s business rate cut, energy bills would be frozen and parents of the regions 49,050 pre-school children would be eligible for Labour’s 25-hour free childcare offer.
