Visiting volunteers at Camberwell Green's Cancer Research UK sho

This morning I joined local volunteers in Camberwell Green at the Cancer Research UK shop in Butterfly Walk.  I spoke with shop manager Marilyn Heasman and several volunteers who give up their valuable time to contribute to the smooth running of this busy shop. Without the support of the 16 dedicated people who volunteer here the running of this shop in Camberwell could not continue.

Camberwell Green's Cancer Research shop relies on donations from the public to help fund their life-saving work.  I donated some books this morning - and bought something new as well. I encourage everyone to clear out their wardrobes and cupboards of unwanted clothes, CDs, DVDs, books and quality household goods and drop them off. Each bag of donated goods could be worth up to £30 to the charity.
