Welcoming new members to the Camberwell and Peckham Labour Party

It was a great pleasure to welcome new members of the Camberwell and Peckham Constituency Labour Party to the House of Commons this evening.

As well as the new members, I was pleased to welcome Cllr Barrie Hargrove, Cllr Cleo Soanes and our Greater London Assembly Member, Val Shawcross who introduced themselves and talked about the work they do with the local Labour Party.

The Camberwell and Peckham Labour Party is very active, and I encouraged new members to become involved, whether it be taking part in our VAT campaign or going out campaigning.
