Meeting Tanzanian Women MPs at the House of Commons - 26/01/2012

Today I joined Shadow Minister for International Development, Rushanara Ali MP, to meet Tanzanian women MPs visiting the House of Commons as part of a Commonwealth Association delegation.  We spoke about issues faced by women MPs and legislating for equality. The MPs in the delegation were Hon. Anna Margareth Abdalla; Hon. Susan Lyimo; Hon. Angellah Jasmine Kairuki; Hon. Esther Matiko; Hon. Riziki Omar Juma; Hon. Al Shaymaa Kwegyir;  Hon. Beatrice Shelukindo; Hon Agripina Buyogera; Hon. Magdalena Sakaya; Hon. Namelok Sokoine; Hon Fakharia Shomar Khamis; Mrs Justina Mwaja Shauri; and Ms Susie Kitchens.
