Grenfell Fire - due to be answered by Government Ministers on 4 and 5 July 2017

  • To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government if his department will give councils the resources to conduct cladding inspections on blocks over seven stories and to remove cladding if necessary within specified timescales.

  • To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government if his department will instruct local authorities to retrofit sprinklers in high-rise blocks and provide the funding for this.
  • To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government when his department will publish the review of Part B of the Building Regulations following the Lakanal House fire inquest in 2013.

  • To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government if his department will create a requirement to upload records of fire safety inspections and refurbishments undertaken to a centrally monitored database, on a) local authorities, b) housing associations, and c) private landlords.
  • To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government when the last fire safety inspections were undertaken in student accommodation blocks in a) the London Borough of Southwark and b) in London.
  • To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how much funding has been given to the Fire Brigade in each of the last 7 years, a) in the London Borough of Southwark, and b) in London.

  • To ask the Secretary of Statefor the Home Department what number of firefighters were employed in each of the last 7 years, a) in the London Borough of Southwark, and b) in London.

  • Personal Income: Women - 11 January 2017

    To ask the Secretary of State for Education, what women's median income as a percentage of men's was from all sources including pay, pensions, benefits and tax credits for each year from 2010 to 2016.

  • Public Bodies: Equality - 11 January 2017

    To ask the Secretary of State for Education, if she will commence the socio-economic duty on public bodies contained within section 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

  • Children's Centres: Greater London - 10 January 2017

    To ask the Secretary of State for Education, how many Sure Start centres have closed in London in each of the last six years; and in which boroughs those centres were located. 

Environment

  • Noise pollution - 18 January 2017

    To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what level of aircraft noise has been recorded in Camberwell and Peckham constituency in each of the last five years; and what assessment he has made of the effect of the addition of a third runway at Heathrow Airport on noise levels in that constituency in each of the five years after the expansion of that airport.

    To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how many ambulances based in Camberwell and Peckham have responded outside the (a) Category A and (b) Category C response-time target in each of the last five years.

  • Guy's and St Thomas A & E - 20 January 2017

    To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how many people attending A&E in Guy's and St Thomas' hospitals waited longer than four hours to receive treatment in each of the last five years.

  • Guy's and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust - 20 January 2017

    To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how many admissions were made to medical facilities operated by Guy's and St Thomas' Trust in each of the last five years.

  • Police in Southwark - 23 January 2017

    To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what proportion of (a) police officers operating and (b) people under 25 years of age in the London Borough of Southwark are from black and ethnic minority backgrounds.
  • Migrant workers - EU nationals - 18 January 2017

    To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what estimate she has made of the change in the number of EU citizens in the UK that will be (a) engaged in agricultural work, (b) engaged in construction work, (c) employed in the NHS and (d) employed in the UK after April 2017.

  • BAME representation in the Metropolitan Police - 10 January 2017

    To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what proportion of (a) police officers and (b) staff employed by the Metropolitan Police Service are of black and ethnic minority backgrounds.

  • Temporary Accommodation in Southwark - 20 January 2017

    To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, how many households in temporary accommodation in the London Borough of Southwark (a) are single-parent households, (b) are pensioner households and (c) have occupants with mental health conditions.
  • Temporary Accommodation in Southwark - 18 January 2017

    To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, what the average length of stay in temporary accommodation was for households in the London Borough of Southwark in (a) 2010, (b) 2015 and (c) 2016.

Justice

  • Courts: Domestic Violence - 11 January 2017

    To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, if she will bring forward legislative proposals to prevent perpetrators of domestic violence from cross-examining in person the victims of that domestic violence and to ensure that contact between those perpetrators and those victims is prevented while they are within court buildings. 

  • Family Courts: Domestic Violence - 11 January 2017

    To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, how many cases in the family courts involved domestic violence in each year from 2010 to 2016.

  • Southern Rail - 10 January 2017

    To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what plans he has to improve service for passengers on Southern Rail in 2017.
