On Thursday 17th June 2010 I joined Southwark Child Minding Association (SCMA) with Deputy Mayor Cllr Lorraine Lauder for their 'Party in the Park'.
This event was part of National Child Minding Week. Whilst there I spoke with Sue Cole, Chair of SCMA and local child minders who provide a valuable service to parents in Camberwell and Peckham. I have joined the SCMA's call for more people to train and register to become professional child minders as there is currently a shortage in Southwark.
