It was good to meet parents, teachers and pupils at St James the Great Primary School in Peckham this morning. I was joined by local councillors Cllr Tayo Situ and Cllr Barrie Hargrove. The head, Mr Dunphy, who has been at the school for 15 years warmly welcomed me and was pleased to show me the breakfast club. I am pleased that things are going well at the school.
