This morning I joined local campaigners and members of the community to visit the site of the old Peckham Lido and which the group would like to restore and re-open for the benefit of the local community.

The campaign is led by a small group of residents including James Glynn and Ben Lloyd-Ennals who joined us along with local ward councillors Jamille Mohammed, Jasmine Ali and Nick Dolezal; Chair of the nearby Consort Estate Tenants & Residents Association, Ron Spencer; Peckham Councillor Johnson Situ; Peckham Rye Councillor Vikki Mills; Southwark Council Cabinet Member for Public Health, Parks & Leisure Barrie Hargrove; and local architect Ben O'Looney.
