The Publisher’s Association held their AGM this morning in Central London. 60 members of the association came together to discuss the current issues affecting them within their industry.
I spoke about the importance of the cultural and creative industries and how the role of the publisher is vital in building a strong British economy.
During the Q&A session a range of questions were asked which included concerns in the charity sector over public funding and universal access for all as well as concerns over the continuing cuts to library services. We also discussed copyright and intellectual property.
