Question Time was televised live from Clacton this evening just after the polls had closed in both Clacton and the Heywood and Middleton by elections.

David Dimbleby led the debate and I joined the panel along with Eric Pickles from the conservative Party, Malcolm Bruce from the Liberal Democrats, Patrick O'Flynn from UKIP and writer Jeanette Winterson. We took a range of topical questions from the audience at Clacton County High School.
