I am contacting my constituents who have links with other parts of the world. I want to better understand the important contribution that diaspora communities in my constituency make by sending money back to their home country. These remittances are a vital and largely unseen contribution to ‘international development’. To help me understand the impact of remittances on those who are sending them as well as those who are receiving them I am undertaking a survey.
