This afternoon I joined Labour Party members and supporters in Newcastle city centre to campaign ahead of tomorrow's council elections. I then joined Labour candidates Simon Bird in Denton and Linda Hobson in Westerhope. With the Tory/Lib Dem Government making damaging cuts it is even more important that the Labour Party is a strong voice for people in tough times and is on their side.
