Yesterday I joined the by-election campaign in Glasgow North East to lend my support for the Scottish Labour Party local candidate Willie Bain. 

I joined Willie and many local volunteers to deliver leaflets and knock on doors ahead of the by election on Thursday 12th November. 

This election is about who is the best person to stand up for Glasgow. Willie Bain has lived in the area all his life, he is a local man who is proud of where he's from.
 
He is determined to stop the SNP ripping off Glasgow and to send a message to David Cameron that Glasgow doesn’t want the Tories back.
 
Willie understands better than most what needs to be done in the community in which he lives.   I am proud to offer Willie Bain my full support and enjoyed campaigning with him.
