It was good to join my friends and Labour activists who are working hard in Cardiff North campaigning to get Julie Morgan elected to the Welsh Assembly. Hopefully what was Westminster's loss at the General Election will be the assembly's gain in May.

I was also pleased to catch-up with local party members at the Vale of Glamorgan CLP dinner. It was good to see how much hard work is going into getting Jane Hutt AM re-elected in the Vale.
