I was pleased to join Labour's council candidates and party members campaigning in the Fulford ward ahead of the local elections on May 5^th. I also had the opportunity to speak with students at the University of York about the importance of supporting Labour in this year's council elections. May 5^th is an opportunity for students to send a clear message of opposition to Nick Clegg about the trebling of tuition fees and cuts to university funding.
