Campaigning with local Labour candidates in Plymouth (20.04.10)

Yesterday I met up with the staff and business leaders at the Jan Cutting health centre at Scott Business Park in Plymouth, and with Labour Candidates Linda Gilroy and Alison Seabeck. I met two young people who had benefited from the Future Jobs Fund. They told me how difficult they had found being unemployed, endlessly applying for jobs and being rejected, but how much they had got their self esteem back once they were earning a wage through the future jobs fund.

Then I went out door knocking in St Peter & Waterfront Ward with Councillor Sue MacDonald and Linda Gilroy and Labour's great team.
