The Commission for Older Women - which I chair - met today.  We discussed older women and employment - unemployment amongst this group has already risen by 48% since the 2010 general election and older women are facing a particular problem returning to the labour market following time out to care for ill family members.  We also discussed our interim report which can be found here and future actions to take forward the recommendations.
