I was greatly impressed by the work of Camberwell College of Arts students seeing their degree show at the Peckham Road campus this morning.  I took the opportunity of buying a print by illustration student Kunyalala Ndlovu.  Congratulations to all the students at Camberwell College of Arts who are graduating this year.  I wish them all the best for the future.

Worryingly because of cuts in government funding - nearly all teaching funding to Camberwell College of Arts has been cut - they feel they have to charge students £9,000 tuition fees in future.  Earlier this year London South Bank University applied to set their tuition fees at £8,450.  Both LSBU and Camberwell College of Arts have many local students from Southwark, Lambeth and Lewisham and I fear this will deter local students in Camberwell and Peckham from low income families.
