As the Lib Dem Party joined in Glasgow for their annual conference on Saturday, Harriet Harman, Deputy Leader of the Labour Party said:

“This week Labour will expose the truth behind the Lib Dems record of broken promises and failure. 

"The Lib Dems may want to distance themselves from what they've done as part of the Tory-Lib Dem Government, but the Tories couldn’t have done any of it without the Lib Dems. Working people have been left worse off by a government which stands up for a privileged few, and the Lib Dems have been complicit every step of the way.  The bedroom tax, tax cuts for millionaires and rising NHS waiting lists are all as a result of Lib Dem decisions and votes – and we will make sure people don’t forget it.

“We all know that what the Lib Dems say during their conference this week is no guide to what they’ll do in the future. On the ground, online and on the airwaves Labour will have one message this week – you can’t trust Nick Clegg and the Lib Dems.”
