On Friday 21st May 2010 I met with the Head and Deputy Head of Highshore Secondary School who updated me on the planned move of the school to Camberwell.
This is part of the Building Schools for the Future programme which is re-building four local schools; St Michael and All Angels, Sacred Heart, St Thomas the Apostle and Highshore.
I have raised the future of Highshore School with the Prime Minister in the House of Commons (Please see here for my speech) and I am pressing the Education Secretary, Michael Gove, for these four new school buildings to go ahead.
