Yesterday I went to the Golden Oldies Christmas party at Walworth Methodist church hall.

It was good to see Bridget Bass, who along with her husband Len have played a leading role in setting up and running this vibrant organisation. I also spoke with Charles, the former driver of the mini-bus who used to go around picking up members, and I spoke with both Victoria junior and Victoria senior - the Mother and daughter team who also help to keep the group going.

The food was as good as it is every year, and I was pleased to be able to wish all the members a very happy christmas.
