Harriet supports the lobby on free bus travel

Harriet is supporting the lobby organised by the TUC which defends free bus travel for London's under-18s in full time education. This concession was voted for by Londoners as part of the Mayor's 2004 manifesto and started in September 2005, but the Conservatives on the London Assembly argue that the scheme introduced by the Mayor is 'an unaffordable luxury.' To read more and to sign the petition, visit the TUC website.
