Hope for "The Hope"

The Hope is the last pub on Rye Lane and has been open for 100 years. Last night I met with some of the staff and locals who contacted me to ask for my help to stop the pub from being sold and turned into a betting shop. A planning application has been submitted for a gambling license and the regulars and staff are worried this means it might sold and turned into a betting shop. I have promised to contact the brewery and the company who have submitted the licensing application. There are enough betting shops on Rye Lane!
