This afternoon I joined Bob Jones the Labour West Midlands police and commissioner candidate at Acocks Green Police Station. Local residents are concerned that due to police cuts the station will be re-located out of the area. We also joined local councillors Cllr Stewart Stacey and Cllr John O’Shea at Acocks Green Train Station to listen to local residents who were concerned about plans for the station to unstaffed from 4pm every day. Residents, especially some local women raised concerns about safety.
