Last night I joined GLA candidate Cllr Josie Channer, and members from Bromley and Chislehurst, Beckenham, Orpington and Lewisham West and Penge CLPs. I was interested to hear from them about the concerns they are hearing from their friends and neighbours about the cost of travel, the cost of parking and the cost of living under this Tory Mayor Boris Johnson. I took the opportunity to thank them for all of the hard work they are doing in their area and to ask them to redouble their efforts to ensure that Ken Livingstone is elected Mayor of London and we get a strong showing for Labour in the GLA elections.
