This morning I joined residents of Therapia and Mundamia Roads in Peckham Rye to hear how they have been affected by road improvement works in Forest Hill Road. Local buses have been temporarily diverted down these residential roads as a result of the works and residents are concerned about the impact. Representatives from Southwark Council, Transport for London and local councillors agreed to look again at alternative routes, monitor bus speeds after dark and speed up the road works.
