Labour Party Scottish Conference

This weekend I am attending the Scotish labour Party Conference in Dundee. Everyone everywhere in Scotland will have a vote in the European elections on June 4 and every vote will count. These elections will show Labour’s team working together in Scotland, in the UK Government, and at European level to deliver for people the jobs and living standards they deserve, peaceful, safe communities in which to live and a sustainable future for the environment.

We are giving people hardest hit by the impact of the global financial crisis real help now. And with our equality agenda, we are offering real hope for a fairer future for all.

The choice couldn’t be clearer – Labour’s values of fairness, decency and solidarity contrast with the SNP’s incompetence and broken promises and the Tories’ indifference and callous cuts.
