Today I was delighed to join the other 80 women Labour MPs in Parliament. Labour has 81 women MPs and 16 BAME MPs, with the Conservatives having 48 women MPs and 11 BAME MPs and the Liberal Democrats 7 women MPs and 0 BAME MPs.

The Labour Party is the voice of women in Parliament, we have nearly twice as many women MPs as the Conservatives and over 10 times more than the Lib Dems.

Labour women MPs are determined that the advances for women should not be rolled back, e.g. childcare, maternity leave.
