On Saturday I spoke at the Women in Politics launch event hosted by the Hackney Women's Forum.

The event was organised to bring together local women who are interested in political affairs and want to contribute to the Hackney community. 

I was delighted to congratulate the Hackney Women's Forum and the Hackney Labour Party for organising an exciting day of debate about the role of women in political life and the importance of diverse representation. 

Labour is the party that is listening and acting for women.  London has hundreds more children's centres because of the action that Labour has taken to support families.
