Today I joined Cllr Simon Blackburn (Blackpool) and Cllr Simon Greaves (Bassetlaw) for the ‘Campaigning Masterclass’ plenary session at the LGA Labour Group Spring Conference. The session was chaired by Cllr Claire Kober (Haringey).  Ahead of the session I spoke to Labour Councillors from across the country about the work they are doing and issues they face in their areas as a result of the Government’s cuts. The theme of this year’s conference was Social Justice in a Time of Cuts.
