Today was the launch of London Labour's Women’s Manifesto. I was joined by Val Shawcross and GLA members and candidates including Val Shawcross, Nicky Gavron, Leonie Cooper, Jennette Arnold, Fiona Twycross, Lisa Homan, Joanne McCartney, Florence Nosegbe and Mabel McKeown. After the launch we spoke to staff at the the Angel Community Nursery at St. Gabriel’s School about the work they are doing and the difficulties local parents face meeting their childcare needs.
