Meeting with Labour Members in Ipswich - 26/11/2013

Ipswich

Over 50 members from Ipswich Labour Party and surrounding constituencies joined at Ipswich Library to discuss topical issues. I spoke about the cost of living crisis that people are feeling in the area and what the Labour Party would do differently in Government including our policies on childcare, energy freezes and business rates which would help people in Ipswich. Members then raised their concerns on the policies of the Tory-Lib Dem Government including on tuition fees, schools policy and the changes in the NHS. We also discussed the Party Reform measures on which the Labour Party is consulting.
