This morning I met with the Riots, Communities and Victims Panel about the riots and their impact on Camberwell and Peckham.  I explained to Heather Rabbatts, Baroness Maeve Sherlock and Panel Chair Darra Singh the preliminary findings of a report I am working on.  The report, which will be released next week, focuses on what local people think caused the riots; what they think will prevent them happening again; and the way forward from here.
