Harriet Harman MP, deputy leader and chair of the Labour Party, will be the keynote speaker at Labour North West’s annual conference in Southport on Sunday 23 November.
Some 400 Labour members, councillors, MPs, MEPs and trade unionists will look at the key challenges facing people across the region.
Against the backdrop of the global economic downturn, Harriet Harman, who is a member of the Government’s National Economic Council, will set out how Labour plans to give real help to families and businesses in these tough times, focusing on those people most in need.
