Older Women’s Commission meeting in Llandudno – 22/03/13

Today I spoke to a meeting of the Older Women’s Commission before the Welsh Labour Conference in Llandudno, along with Julie Morgan AM and Miriam O’Reilly. We then split into smaller groups with women who had come from all over Wales.

The Commission is looking into the pressures faced by a new generation of older women, whose lives are very different from those of their mothers. It focuses on three key areas: older women in the workplace; older women and their caring responsibilities; and older women in the media and public life.
