Today I responded to the Budget in the House of Commons. This was a ‘Titanic’ Budget from the Tory-Lib Dem Government - the rich get a life boat and the rest sink or swim.
The Budget was a chance for the Tory-Lib Dem government to come up with a budget for jobs and growth but they failed. As Shadow Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, my challenge focused on the Government’s failure to outline a plan for jobs and growth in the creative economy.
