Yesterday I responded to the Prime Ministers statement in the House of Commons on Afghanistan. You can read my response here.

I restated Labour's support for our mission in Afghanistan, which is first and foremost to protect our national security.

I also asked the Prime Minister to follow through on the important work to back up the wives, partners and families of our armed forces.
