Today I hosted a reception for the 30 Labour Parliamentary candidates that have already been selected ahead of the next General Election and Shadow Cabinet members of Parliament. We discussed what concerns people had on the doorsteps in their areas, which for most people included youth unemployment, jobs and the squeeze on household budgets.
