Grapevine has featured Harriet's visit to their new breast unit in their latest newsletter.

"Staff and volunteers were delighted recently to have an opportunity to show Harriet Harman MP around the Trust's newly established breast unit.

During her visit at the end of October, Ms Harman saw the latest in digital breast screening equipment, as well as other examples of best practice such as dedicated quiet rooms for patients and relatives.

She said: 'Every woman dreads a breast cancer scare. Even worse, if the news is as feared. It was really moving to see the unit in action. Thanks to Vicki and all the team at the unit, and keep up the good work.'"
