On Saturday I attended the Eastern Region Conference in Peterborough. With local elections coming up in 2012 and people looking again at our party, especially in areas in the East of England where we have been set back, we have a great opportunity to make progress and win council seats. It was great to meet up with activists in the East of England who relish taking on the challenge.
